Busa bites back

Postby SJLB » Thu Mar 29, 2018 8:10 pm

Not a very successful track day at Brands on Wednesday. Rain all day and I managed to spin into the pit lane wall taking the off-side front wheel and wish bones clean off and leaving the chassis needing some welding. No Sunday runs for me for a while!

Was really sorry to see this happen it was such a hard hit into the shows how tough these can be. Neil heard you hit the wall over 800 yards away. Hope you feel o.k mate and not to stiff.
As you say was so wet and very very tricky lots of cars damaged over the day and lots of spins including a 680 degree at paddock for me.
Hope repairs go well for you.

Never great when one has a problem in the wet. Wish you a speedy repair and hope it has not dampened your enthusiasm for trackdays. :D

I was at The run up to Druids when I heard the bangs! By the time I got back to the pit Steve was on the pitwall taking photos and thankfully he was ok and remarkably circumspect as the car was being recovered. Glad you’re ok fella and you got home ok.
