Re: rogue runners 2018
"5/ Brian (John O'Groats please)"
I hear you, but there's an issue
As folk were saying thet wanted to do the Ullapool - Durness road again & also saying they liked the Selkirk area I was looking at Selkirk - Ullapool one day & a loop back to ullapool the next.
Like this:-
Now Selkirk to Ullapool is a LONG way (280 - 300 miles), building JoG into a route the following day means more or less repeating last year's day 4 Ullapool - Durness - JoG - Inverness, & the JoG - Inverness leg was pretty dull. I did think of one of these two:-
Option one is probably too long? Option two doesn't get to JoG. Did you spacifically want to go there, or just to do the north coast?
Equally I'm happy to write all three & folk can choose based on tiredness / weather/ how soon they want to be in the bar.
"7/ Steve - can we go via Europe instead - I fancy going somewhere much hotter "
Surely it doesn't matter to you - you'll have the air-con on anyway
