Finally.. a decision!

Postby leegav » Wed Sep 30, 2015 2:48 pm

Well after been rather sad at not been able to make a decision about my car including endless months of questioning...going round in circles, wasting a bit of money and having people offer me silly money for the car.. Ive taken the Plunge!

Its staying!
Ive bought the following as an upgrade today.. :D :D

AT power Shaftless DTH Itb's :D
fuel rail and fitting kit
100mm extension
60mm ram pipe length
45 mm width tapered system
42mm length bodies
Total sytem length is 202mm
centre pull linkage
Penny and Giles contact-less TPS
Air filter box to match engine airflow
Emerald K6 ECU
whole system in jet black...
The AT Power Throttle Body incorporates a patented design matching the outright performance of a roller barrel Throttle Body while independent tests have shown >7% more airflow than a conventional butterfly Throttle Body. Mid range performance is significantly increased due to the velocity of the same volume of air passing through a smaller orifice.
Ive also chose these lengths of extension and to get more mid range torque rather than top end HP

Customer service has been fantastic so far. Not the cheapest around but i wouldnt of been happy after reading the stats on there website and online on the shaftless bodies over standard bodies.
so im very pleased but a lot of work to do in converting to EFI.
:P :P :P
So shortly i will be selling the weber carbs, ecu and loom if anyone is interested.

Glad to see a decision has been made and progress can be made. :)

You and the car obviously reacquainted your feelings for each other in Wales.

i was getting readings between 13.2 and 14 from my voltage meter i plugged in for the wales tour...
i dont think its working to full potential and dunnell have said they will take it back and have a look, as it gets very hot to touch and the light just stays on now..
ive drove the car to work today and its fine still getting same readings...
when i get chance im gunna get it out and send it back to paul..
