reach valley grand prix /soap box 13th September

Postby Martin S » Wed Jan 28, 2015 7:47 am

This is a soap box event that will be taking place on the 13th of September, for the first year we want to run a maximum of 30 karts, place to be held is glynde Sussex,if any of you budding bulders want to have a go let me no or pop your name down on hear.this also could make a good group meeting of kits,we would have a marked of area,so you don't get a stray kart ending up on your passenger seat,so who's up for it? As for spec,I am working on it as they have left it to me :D ,tho as long as it isn't shop bought, has a secured seat, and no protruding objects,I am sure it will be good to go,just to add I am a scrutiner, may need a hand with that if anyone is interested

Are you intending to have objects to go over like on the redbull ones, as could if allowed call for suspension .
I take this is a one at a time issue and not a head to head race,
. performance at the start ?
P.S. does it show I am interested.

We have a couple of SKCC guys up here in Jockland who race these . They have a CAD designed cart and bike. It's a well supported sport up here (we have lots of hills). Depending on the route they can reach over 60 mph but a crash at that speed hurts - a lot :D
