Looks good, and I do keep thinking about cutting my rear arches down, as they are WIDE
infact the rear track is 4" wider than the front

I find it quite funny that almost all Seven style cars have a wider rear track than front :)
I'm pretty sure it is down to Lotus designing the front suspension for a narrow ear axle and then progressively moving to wider ones until the Escort axle was much wider than the front. My Seven is just the same, only the De dion rear could have easily been designed narrower and Caterham sell a wide track front as an optional extra

I hope we have a mild winter Tony, that makes my garage look luxurious :D

I,ve just finished all of the dirty work Stripiping the the back panel off.I couldn't bump this dent out because i couldn't get to the back of it. there's an old roll bar in the way that i cut out so the new one could be welded in.Also the aluminium panl was very poor quality a(bit like lead.) So time to put it right. So i'm puting thes jobs right and it's not cost me a pot.Now the good bit starts Image Image Image

So Tony, are you going to shape a new panel from scratch, then? if I remember correctly, stripping's the easy part...

You must be pleased to be able to remove the rest of that roll over bar :)
