Now I got my mojo back .
I have started some improvements and modifications to my kit, (little treat to myself for all those hrs of hard graft over the last year and putting my hobby on hold).
List of things to do.
1. Sort out Brake lights. ( To stop people shouting Hey you your F$$$$$ brake lights don't work) and me saying yeh I know its because I don't use Brakes whats your problem????
2. Having a bespoke rear diffusor made as we speak from Ali.
3. Front diffusor / Sump guard. Giving me a total flat floor
4. Fit new set of hydraulic lifters.
5. In the process of fitting new bonnet scoop (Mitsubishi L200)
6. Gearbox rebuild and long 1st gear installed
7. Lowering the car and Corner weights.
8. Remap set up on rolling road.
That should keep me busy for a while, but must keep road worthy for the odd run out, for testing improvements.
And when all that's done I would like to get a roll cage fitted.

Re: Modifications
If you've only got a pressure switch on the brake master cylinder, I'd wire in parallel a pedal mounted microswitch. It fixed my lazy brake lights. Slightly less worried now when there's a Range Rover tailgating me.

If that's the case you're using the wrong pedal

Re: Modifications
Brake lights now sorted with a pedal mounted switch.
The old system relied on hydraulic pressure but it only worked under heavy braking.
