Well that was fun! Thanks for organising Mark, it was a good route, I'd like to try it again without the lightning and deluge :D

Shame Kev had overheating issues, I don't blame you for heading home, it was a brave effort.

Respect for those without hoods/screens, the conditions were terrible at times.

Nice to have good turn out at breakfast and thanks to Steve and Mark for buying coffees.

Mark, you started a great club. It's a shame we'll see (even ;) ) less of you in the future, but I hope something can be arranged. Good luck with the move and your future in Suffolk :D

Thanks Mark G,
Shame your moving on, but needs must. Good luck in your new adventure.
We was unlucky with the weather. eventually gave in and put the roof on and got soaked in doing so, then tried to leave and the windscreen was so foggy, I ended up taking the doors off, so I could see.
Needed window wipers on the inside
Carried on route but sat nav kept on cutting out. So pulled over again, Rich took lead but as soon as I pulled away it was like being in a Swedish sauna. Radio I was out and Rich turned back for me, Thanks Rich
Let the tiger cool down a bit then We decided to delete way points and go straight to the cafe, so followed Rich on route but temp was rapidly increasing, even with override fan on,
so decided bail out as was close to A21

Thanks for the opportunity to wish you farewell Mark, would much rather have seen you in a kit car but maybe one day.
Did not see much of the intended route both due to the rain (torrential at times) and as Kev has said we decided to delete most after only about 20 miles of crawling along but I am sure it was a cracker.
Would be great to make a day out to join you for a run once you have settled and Sussed out the local roads.
Was good to catch up with Russ, Steve and Colin at breckie, journey home was just as exciting especially when I found a few lakes round Bromley much to amusement of the locals.

Car got a very quick rinse with a watering can to clear the leaves before letting it dry in the garage.

Thanks for the send off guys. Pity the weather didn't play ball...it was actually a good route, just that we didnt get to stretch our legs this time round. And yeps, for sure Duncan, do use it again!

Have to say, i didn't feel too guilty about having the roof up

First time since the road trip that i've had the pleasure of driving that car for fun; 'Marks Rock' playlist and a couple of slippery moments put a smile on my face; As did recalling just a few of the previous adventures with you all.
