Just got the error navigating to the 'Forum Admin' page, which I thought was funny. ...

Getting it now and then, but that's better than the forum being offline completely, like last night. I didn't know what to do, I nearly panicked and went into the garage and bolt bits back to the car. I came this close...

Me too just had:

SQL ERROR [ mysql4 ]

Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (2) [2002]

An sql error occurred while fetching this page. Please contact an administrator if this problem persists.

edit: to be fair this is the first error for a while

Paul couldn't get on at all last night.

I've been on this evening, obviously, and was all fine until just now:

General Error

SQL ERROR [ mysql4 ]

Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (2) [2002]

An sql error occurred while fetching this page. Please contact an administrator if this problem persists.
