Update

The season so far has been going quite well for me, I’ve been leading the points all year won the Concept Cup and have gradually opening up the points lead. They have now split the 2 groups of minis for the rest of the year into the top 12 (group A) and the rest (group B) unluckily Kev didn’t quite make it into group A
We raced on Saturday and I got involved in a bit of hassle with another in the first heat, then just couldn’t get through in the second heat and the final was cut to just 6 laps so there was no chance but I got 8th in every race.
The points chart now looks like this

So I still have some work to do as I can be caught ( 8 points for a heat win down to 1 for 8th and double points for the final)

I'm sure you can do it, but sorry Kev didn't make the cut. Can people move up a group if they keep winning the other races?

No you can’t move up at this point in the season but there is seperate trophies for the B group so he could still do well in that group. Then it’ll start fresh next year with the groups chopping and changing till nearing the end of the season.

I had a few issues with my miniRod
August meeting hit the tyre wall
September meeting got boxed in on the heat 1 & 2 and final DNF
As relays in the engine bay fell out, cut the engine / fuel pump
Even though they are a tight fit and have a lid covering the fuse box
