Re: Detling car show
So the tiger went for a MOT yesterday
Before getting to the centre the car had a little weep, so went over the hoses and tightened and put extra jubilee clips on which stopped the coolant dripping, got to the MOT and while on the lift
It decided to let go
Good News it PASSED
Spend the afternoon checking the tiger over and bleeding the system, also discovered the fan temperature sensor switch not working, ON order
At least I can drive to the show
I thought BHP was going to send more info on Saturday but haven’t received anything
Did go on FB and there was a site map with a comment saying the colour of the sticker represents the area / pitch
So we should be in Purple

Re: Detling car show
Great day
Made a change to get out in the Tiger
Good company
Nice little run from Edenbridge to Detling via single track roads at one point we thought we was driving down someone’s drive
But actually wasn’t a bad route
Cheers Matt for sorting the off roading lol
Stopped for a little catch up
And for Jason to catch his breath after his near miss with the back of my car
A249 was a bit busy and took a while of queueing to get to the gate and then a bit more to get to our pitch 100
Some took longer than others to get to the pitch .
Didn’t take many pics
Lots of people very busy day
Lots of drifting going on
Didn’t get any pics
Met up with our Kent outlaw oval racing club great to see a good turn out

Re: Detling car show
Thanks for organising Kev and for the tukka and shelter (Matt)
Yes I decided to let the others set up the pitch by faking a breakdown which was apparently a lack of fuel in my tank, despite the gauge saying otherwise.
Show was not too bad, certainly large enough.
Tried to rope in a few more members so let’s see if they drop by.

The traffic chaos made it onto the Kent news website. Shame the roadworks and closed turnings trapped hundreds of cars on the way out.
