Thanks both. Went to Snett yesterday for the British GT meet. Trip cut short with a broken clutch limped to the circuit and awaited recovery. Got a few shots in before the arduous journey home.

Popped along to Brands Hatch Friday, a couple of shots below. Difficult to take different shots because of the high fencing and limited opportunities. Tried some intentional camera movement with a few shots, last one below. A bit marmite with the blur, though I quite like it.

Great photos Mike
But they do show how ugly a lot of race cars are now, in the past it was possible to combine speed with beauty, but not any more. Wings/downforce were where Motorsport went wrong.

Thanks Duncan, There was some nice cars running today including a Courage C75 LMP 2 car from 2007. Definitely not suited to the Brands Hatch Indy circuit, though nice to see regardless.
Shot below taken by our Mr Greenwood who was determined to prove the theory that to take a good shot all you need is a good camera. Totally agree you need something fit for the chosen subject matter, you also need to know how to switch it on.. (armour plated flack jacket is on.. awaiting incoming. )
Great shot btw, and lovely to catch up and right the wrongs of the world!

Re: Motorsport Images.
Aw, busted - yeps, i couldn'tr find the 'go' button on Mike's camera - in fairness, i did rib him a bit on the quality of his gear - so wasn't a surprise t find the camera passed into my hands so that i could debunk my thesis.
Erm, i'm quite pleased with that shot Mike - i'd take that
here's mine, slim pickings as was too busy talking and not concentrating....
