If I was going to go mad Mac style I’d have pit the charger on top of the engine with a huge hole in the bonnet!!
You thinking like this but with a cover over the top?

How about coming through the side panel with some sort of a cowling over it.
A bit Mad Max like.

Picking up on Kenton's comment, perhaps you could leave the filter where it is and fit different wheels :D

Went for a blatant this morning, everything behaved - lovely
Still looks like I'm getting 10 PSI. Temps were good CLT got to 80 and the MAT was between 27-48, it's good bro see that rise with load and promptly drop back down, I guess the charge cooler must be working, now that I've finally stopped the leaks!
Went to raise the air filter and discovered that it had come off, luckily it was wedged in a safe position. Not sure if this was my lack of tightening it up or work's needed to give the inlet filter time more to hang on too, time will tell.
Nothing else fell off and all 4 pistons are in working order.
Hopefully the next time I post on this thread it'll be the BHP sweepstake. :D :D :D :D
