Good to catch up with everyone today, albeit too briefly. Spent most of the time sheltering and under the umbrella... Brooklands as interesting as always but the weather put a lot of people off.

Thanks for organising this Mike, I enjoyed meeting up with you all
Richard and I chose just the right time to go for a coffee, it was very civilised meeting in the cafe
Here is a short video of the Napier Railton being push started:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r6ZeJ__NlP8&feature=youtu.be
For those who haven't sen this car- it has a 24 litre Napier Lion W12 aero engine and holds the lap record for the Brooklands circuit at 144 mph in the 1930s
Great to see it move after all the times I have seen it in museums.
Some photos to follow.

Re: Group Get Together 13th Oct - Brooklands
Some Ferraris out on a wet day! All gone soon after lunch:
Very nice "Totally original" S3 Seven, the owner said someone desperate to buy it had been hassling him at a classic car show...............so why display it again! Bet it has had most of the chassis tubes replaced and is more like Trigger's broom
Got to love an Intergrale, even if the steering wheel is the wrong side and they rust like my old Strada Abarth
My favoutite car of the day, a Fiat Abarth 1000, based on a Fiat 850 rear engined coupe I believe:
More Abarths, they were very loud on the circuit
Original 911 meets the latest, at least 1 foot difference in width. I know which would survive and SKCC blat better.
Rather nice Elan and Escort combo, I'd give both room in my garage if I had the space and money

Credit has to go to Mark G for organising that. You’re spot on with your favourite car choice - that’s was great.
I also really enjoyed the awesome spectacle of autotest and autosolo passenger rides put on by Farnborough District Motor Club, Maidstone and Kent Motor Club, and Basingstoke motor club.
