Project Locost the next step

Postby locost220 » Sat Oct 05, 2019 8:25 pm

With my chassis all but finished it is time to consider my options for coatings, powder coating was an obvious option, but being a Locost that I made mostly myself, there are a couple of things that I wished I had been a bit braver on in the past and one of those was not doing the body paintwork myself, I redid the half hearted spray job done on the chassis by a so called professional with my own rattle cans but never tackled a full spray gun job and the best way to start with would be spray painting the chassis in the POR15 two pack mastic we have used successfully in the past as a brush paint.
So I thought I would try and get a bit of traffic through the forum and do another mini project/ series of videos in the garage preparation for this ???
I will apologise now for my lack of charisma, presentation skills, but hopefully you will find it entertaining, informative or an ideal cure for insomnia.
But this does include building another mini project items?

Well done Rich

Honestly once you start spraying you’ll realise how easy it is. How are you planning on turning the chassis so you make sure you get everything coated?

It's rare that i get long enough to watch your videos so it was nice to see this one and get a progress check on where you're at. You presented and explained things really well mate... looking forward to seeing it progress ready for EURO20.. (fill in the dots   ). Well done!
