Fantastic trip report Dunc, really enjoyed reading that. Wales really is a lovely place
Are you sure Graham bought everyone a tea though? Or was there a different Graham on the trip?

Great report Duncan. Sounds like despite some traffic and a spot of rain, it was a successful weekend on some great roads.

Some extra things that came to mind:
Ken kept tge folding hard top up almost all holiday. To start it was cold, fair enough, also when we had rain. However, he still kept it up when it was sunny to make his satnav more legible!
Roger had an unusual car problem when his immobilizer wouldn't operate. After lots of head scratching, it turned out the batteries had failed in both his keys!
Linda was driving along a busy A road when her drivers side half door blew off never to be seen again. She carried on regardless with no complaints, even when it was raining.

Nice little read Duncan, glad you all had a good/safe time, sounds like it should have been named the cake & ice cream tour

Re: Wales 2019 report thread.
thanks, Duncan excellent write-up,
as for the Newlands meet / leave time cock-up we have previously left Newlands corner at 04-30, we were about 15min earlier this time and we did a much longer motorway stretch than before hence it was faster to breakfast even allowing for matt to replace his throttle cable...well thats the best excuse i can come up with.
great trip as always with marks route coming out tops again, the weather helped on that day as well, scorchio, guess that's why I incorporate that route into these wales trips,
sadly there was a lot of traffic on day 1 not experienced on these wales trips before,
rainy Sunday was still a good day, the pace, given the rain, was really good.
great banter all through the trip with myself (time) and ken (roof) 'suffering' the most
many thanks to all the rogues.
