I've been going to work all week in my kit and today, leaving work, it wouldn't start! . Electrical problem, no starter motor.
Started eventually because I shouted at it (honestly, I did nothing else) - so bodes well for 3am tomorrow

Gawd, I may be the weak link this weekend - apologies in advance
Went to fill up tonight and car wouldn't start! Only good thing is I think I've tracked it down to the main plug between ignition and loom, so hopefully any issues just need that wiggling (I did get it going that way) . Bad news is, while testing things, I pulled the wire out of the terminal on the HP fuel pump. I haven't got a spare ring terminal the right size, so the wire is held in with gaffer tape - should last the 1000 miles of the trip

hah, after all that, car started at the first turn of the key AND I am the first person at the meet point! Forgot how quick you can travel when there is no traffic.
