You're a braver man than me, I hate painting of any type :)

I have to say, the paint on my car got chipped very quickly. I suppose paint then protection film might last better, but that is expensive. If I built my car again, I think I would get the aluminium panels wrapped.

Ive just bought some Por15 to do my chassis over the winter peroiod so ill be keeping an eye on how it goes Rich. The write ups for the Por15 are very good.

It's good stuff colin, not quite as good as good powder coating.
Brush strokes are an isse so hoping spraying is more pleasant to the eye.

that;'s a 2 step paint isn't it Rich? as think it needs another layer of 'something' for UV protection?

Mine is going on the chassis underneath so not to worried about brush strokes to be honest.

Work has continued on Sandblasting the chassis to get rid of bits I can't get a grinder to, garage presently resembles a scene from a well known cop film but which one?

Ordered a chassis kit from rust buster, including the spray gun and all the prep and cleaning solutions.
Watched a couple of their UTube videos on the mixings and application by brush and spray guns as well as load of other professional and bad boy paint job vids. Need some practice material to have a play with first before going for it.
