anyone seen this on pistionheads ?
looks interesting, days driving recreating former days of glory and partaking of a spot of lunch at le Chateau Tilques.....
have a gander - if anyone is game for this i think i could be persuaded!
although 'kit' wise its only westies + cats that are mentioned i'm sure a little negotiation could see other 'older style' cars take part......

Re: 10th april 2011 - Rally in France
I'm tempted to do this Mark, as a warm up for the Possites Alps tour a few months later, must admit I misread the scale of the map on PH last time round and thought it was miles in land.
Are you able to book the sunshine?
If Im reading this right though do we need to be at Bethune at 9.15am?, wouldnt that be a 4am ferry?

t. bethune is no more than an hour away tops depending on trhe route taken to get there, that means getting a chunnel at say 6-6.30 given the time difference........ok so early but those that have a bit of a trek could stay at mine the night before....

I was thinking about going over the night before and staying over. I have emailed the organisers to see if they would accept the Sylva as a entrant.

Chaps this is the day after the kart race so bear in mind archy limbs and early starts.

Re: 10th april 2011 - Rally in France
if Im honest it might not earn me many brownie points if I stay over Saturday night, with the SKCC tour and the Alps adventure Im not going to be home much next Spring !
The mornings in April are light early just before the clocks change so my vote is just an early start
