Nice job, but do the pipes touch that upright tub in the tunnel? About 1/4" clearance would be good to allow for vibration & heat expansion etc. Also, don't know if it's strictly necessary, but I earthed the copper pipes because they are held in rubber, connected to rubber & have a fluid flowing, so may build up static. Probably not required, but we do it on aircraft, so I did it. Just a bared copper wire in a p-clip & wrapped round the p-clip bolt would do it.

Like I say, I'm pretty sure it's not required, but easy enough to do while you're in there.

Cheers for the advice. Finished the hard lines and got the supercharger apart and in the parts washer.
Need recommendations for a bulkhead mounted swirl pot, seen obp copy for £60 on the bay. Also any known good suppliers of sae30r9 hose?

Slowly making progress, mocking up the location on the SC and the alternator, looks like the SC won’t fit on the exhaust side. Stared making new engine mount but have been struck down with man flu.

We like Cardboard Aided Design. What did that supercharger come off? Looks like it was running on treacle!

The cut-out for the annoying "peg" sticking out of the engine - remember to allow generous rads in the internal corners or it'll crack - though as yours is a Tiger, maybe not, some traditions are too old to mess with :D

When I made my zetec mounts I had the peg poking through a hole in the plate (You can't really see it here)

Then welded the sqare tube over it so the peg was inside the tube.

The SC is off a Mere, I think an SLK R130, it's an Eaton M62. Good point on keeping a good radius, will break the drills out. Was palling on supporting the back of the LH bolts with some 10mm ID tube, and weld it on to the back of the plate.

Looking at the photos it looks like I used a couple of spacers, but welded on tube would be better - if you're better at welding than I am - & there are tribes in the Amazon who have never seen a white man that are better at welding than I am :D

a couple of outstanding questions (as in I don't know the answer, not that they are profound questions!!!)

1. Where to place the wideband lambda sensor, I was thinking on the collector but it's only 60cm from the head and the advice seems to be 100cm from the head, so was planning on that?
2. Decompression plate, if I use a 65mm pulley I should be good for 10-11 psi, do I need a decom plate ?
TIA
Chris

PS Rob - let me know your bank details :-)

Where to place it... I dunno if 60cm is acceptable, I don't think it'd be too bad though.
Here is some reading on the subject: http://blog.innovatemotorsports.com/important-tips-to-get-the-maximum-life-out-of-your-o2-sensor

I know the angle of the sensor in the pipe is important otherwise you can kill the O2 sensor pretty quickly.

Decompression plate, or not... Controversial  I imagine whoever will map your engine should answer this. But I have seen quite a few posts from Dale at Bailey Performance who suggests that decomp plate is not needed on zetec up to 15 psi IF THE MAPPING IS CORRECT. More responsive without. But safer with.
Mine is running 12 psi and if I were to do it again I'd do it without the plate I think.
I'd pop on to Bailey Performance Facebook page and ask him for some friendly advice. I'd be interested to get more answers on this.
