Linda knows what I’m like and has a sense of humour. I’m lucky that she is easy going tolerant and see’s life quite differently to the highly strung, high maintenance, let’s do lunch, 4x4 types who are always moaning about their husbands.

If she cleans the parts nicely I might even show her how to use the self propelling lever on the lawn mower.. :lol:

Engines out, need to swap a few parts then slot the new one in the hole.

Probably two.. just noticed a sheared rocker gear bolt in the new engine.

Over the initial annoyance, drafted a for sale advert :roll: Got another head I can refresh with a clean and a valve grind, checked all the holes, no stray remnants left. Ain’t going to happen for a little while.
