Just a note to say how impressed I have been with A Plan, being a young (26) Kit Car driver.

Dealt with Jamie Kirk (01635 874646) from A Plan and managed to get what I feel is a great price for my GBS Zero which will be going through IVA in the coming weeks.

Most impressively the plan covers me to drive to and from the IVA test (or any company doing the IVA on my behalf so long as it is booked in with them), all just on the chassis number.

So, for comparisons sake my specs are:

26yr old male.
3000miles/year
GBS Zero 2.0 litre (soon to be) 15 reg
Estimated value £15,000
Garaged.
Including legal cover.

Total £259.

I'm chuffed. That is all folks.

Just to add to the thread "me too"! Well impressed.

Really easy, knew what they were on about and were cheaper than my renewal from flux :)

Can't moan at that.

Not quite but working up to it! I still need an mot but may try for early July and then try to work out the gremlins from last year.
These sunny days are not meant for being at work :(

ACCIDENT RECOVERY
Have been with A-plan for a couple of years and always found them easy to deal with and good on price. However after my accident in France it has taken almost nine weeks to get the car back here. Is this the length of time I should have anticipated? It seems a long time to me and I just wondered how others had fared. If it is a longer time than usual I have no idea if that is a fault of A-plan, the insurance company (Markerstudy), the accident recovery garage or the transport back to the UK company.
Having said that. it was hardly worth waiting for as when the insurance assessor comes round it will certainly be written off.

Good to hear from you Alan and that your claim sounds like it is making progress.

It took 2 weeks for recovery from Switzerland when I had a Mechanical breakdown.

Hi Aalan,

I can't remember how many weeks mine took to get back from the Pyrenees 2-3 at least. I think they wait until they have a transporter full so the time taken could vary wildly. I guess there are a number of parties involved too, so nothing moves in a hurry. I hope you get it all sorted soon.

Cheers

Tony

Good to hear from you Alan. I don't know when it was recovered but I do know the ports and freight crossings at the moment are dreadful! So that may have been a factor but nine weeks does sound excessive?

Hope you're both on the mend and the claim gets sorted soon.
