fuel tank mess
Any ideas as to why my fuel tank has decided to do this ?????????????????????????????????

OMG Rob !!, I think you need to install a breather.
GBS changed their tanks when we bought them, you got the wider wheel arches but I got the tank with the breather, when I first used mine I sealed off my breather and my tank started to do what yours has done, basically the pump pulls the fuel out but theres nothing to replace it, mine has a seperate breather to allow air back in.
I bet when you take your fuel cap off it really sucks in the air!, an easy solution and one that will work with the way youve goy your filler cap up high, is to remove the seals from the cap so that air can be pulled into your tank.
looks like your tank is only half the size now

Ouch!
Are u sure Tony did not sit on it when he helped you do the alternator brackets.
You may have trouble getting the cap off.
Try blowing it out with an air line.
This could be the cause of a lack of power.

Yeap needs a breather. Impressed that the fuel pump was strong enough to do that though.
