Well taking the advice from a few of you i had a visit to Gerald Dale Motorsport today.What a great guy really knows his stuff with the old pinto and webers.Car came away like a new vehicle,never run so well and a print out of 179.5 bhp really chuffed, :mrgreen: Looking forward to joining you all now on some run outs!

That's a nice number from a pinto, what spec is it?

If mine gets to 170 once it's run in I'll be happy :)

ps. Did he mention how long he's got left before he has to move to his new unit (which doesnt have space for the rollers).

Hi there,its an old sprint engine 2.2 with cosworth forged pistons and diesel conrods and a big valve head.Its running on twin 45s at the mo but he thinks with 48s would see over 200bhp.Quite happy with what i have now as its very driveable.He is moving out of his premises at the end of the month.He was saying he has got 2 new premises one in the middle of Hastings and one on a farm where he has to build a booth for the rolling road,he thinks this will take about 4 months!cheers steve.
