I did that once with a pinto sump. Came out lovely but the whole of the inside of the dishwasher was covered in a film of sticky black oil :o Spent god knows how much on dishwasher cleaner, cloths and lots of elbow grease!!! My wife went mad :(

You better hope she doesn't read this & notice that mis-spelling :o

Not sure if this beats that or not.
If you look at the back of my Fury there's a recess were the No. plate & rear fogs sit - so I needed a male mould for a dish about 18" wide & 1 1/2" deep, my wife was at her parent's in Spain & there was this roasting tin  .

We're still using the roasting tin, the taste of resin is hardly noticable now.

Is this the reason why most houses have the kitchen next to the garage? So you don't drip stuff on the carpet while carrying it through ;)

It did have stuff in the bottom,i just left the stuff on top.

So what about the thick oil of a roasting tin when its been used,it can't be that different from a good quality engine oil,
Butter would be a good grease, and so on.

Never seen the adverts about new oil technology and how it sticks to metal parts for cold starting etc. It don't come off very easy trust me!!
