The Fury's got a plastic 6 1/2 Gallon tank, at 25MPG that's - erm 150 miles max. I find it OK.

The biggest irritation is that each time I start it, it fills the carbs (obviously) & all that liquified money evaporates when I turn it off  . I try to remember to turn the pump off just before I get home, at least I get to use it that way.

Injection has it's advantages.
