Well due to some fine cameraderie my merry group of men decided not to do Le Mans this year as one of our number couldnt make it, oh yes Solidarity amongst us. So we thought we'd give it a miss and do the Nurburgring 24 - which in fairness has been on the radar for a while. Guess what......yep you've got it, one of the others had to cry off due to an unshakeable family commitment. Seems we'll have to do something else later in the year to keep the gang together......
Meanwhile was flicking through some photos earlier ( unfortunately limited as i've broken my camera 3 years on the trot at Le Mans)....anyway, thought i'd share our 'Gentlemans' Camping with you......

Possibly under equipped. My in-laws were at a camp site in France once when a builder's flatbed truck arrived, parked beside a pitch & used the on-board crane to lift a complete summer-house off the back & into position. Then they just plugged the built in consumer-unit into the mains, a water hose onto the tap, & they were done. All the mod cons were already in the summer-house, screwed to the floor & plugged in.

Nope Ben i reckon its spot on. Did the minimalist thing the first time in 2000 and yep it was fun. But nowadways its rather nice to be nipping the top off another cold one, sitting in a comfy chair and listening to some sounds rather than draining the battery on the car, sitting on a chair and gluuging warm beer and dusting grass of the burger! oh and not messing about in the local hypermarket hunting for food, ice or whatever else.....
Tony - i like the style of the summerhouse, quality!!!
