I'd like to say that was a lie - but sadly it's not! It's Mark's fault, I tried to distract myself by giving him a call and he hung up on me just as Gerald hit about 6.5K!

Well mine was 157 bhp. I'm well chuffed with that (standard Zetec). I hoped for 150, but for whatever reason (age, mis-use!) I thought I'd be down on that - so very pleased. Bigger chokes and shorter trunpets would give me a few BHP more - but I'm going to wait until winter and do the cams and a port and polish and see if I can get nearer to Nigel.

I'll let Nigel tell you what his made - not bad!

True, I also did a little wee and a little bit of sick - plus I chewed a packet of nicotine gum!

well according to Messrs Dunnell Engines, I have an 'Option 1' package which has me down for somewhere between 162-168bph (2.0 Zetec). I have a car mag with my car featured that says it was good, at the time of writing, for around 170bph. So I was mightily pleased when the first run showed 175.5 @ 6126rpm (corrected). :)
After Gerald had his play with it, he tweaked that up some more :D and got me to 180.6 @ 6045prm. :o Peak torque 168.7lb ft @ 4920rpm.
Max road speed 121.3 which would have been fun if it had jumped the rolling road and chocks!! Max engine speed (reflected partly in dan's you tube clip) was 6997rpm - 3rpm less than the setting for the shift light!!
I will sleep well tonight
Fun is not a straight line
