Headset for walkie talkie/radios

Postby greenwoo » Thu May 19, 2022 9:59 pm

I used to have my trusty old ear defenders with the homemade/diy inserts for the 2 way radios....

but since the next car will be somewhat quieter.....all i should need will be a simple over the head headset....with 1 ear piece/boom/push to talk....

any recommendations from anyone?

You might need to think about what to do for an antenna, a lot more steel wrapped around you. I know it's not quite the same but when my mate in his 5 series (not a soft top) tagged along his range was a just few metres...
Yes I've been drinking, what of it!!
