Great day, weather was good to us in morning, considering the storm the day before.
Had a bit of down pour mid day, but didn’t stop play, just a bit more fun.
Afternoon started to dry out but a lot of people had left by then
So we had the track to ourselves
A few kit cars (Caterham academy) struggling a bit to stay on track
Nice couple of Lotus in purple and gold
A couple of fellow mini rods from lydden Hill joined us but damaged his gearbox, so they left early
I discovered that my Offside front shock leaking more like spraying out which didn’t help, but didn’t last long
We did a lot of tyre changes through out the day, trying out our Avon’s 17” to 15” to 16” toyo in the wet, trying different tyre pressures

I think they got scared off by the rain, it was busier in the morning

Cheers still needs a bit of work, we had changed the tyres as didn’t want to wear out our good tyres Avon’s as save them for racing
