That is quite a project! Looking good so far
Make sure you don't run out of argon like I did, I was doing a small aluminium welding job and thought I'd finally got it as one side looked great, then the other side was an utter disaster! I assumed it was me, but it turned out my regulator had sprung a leak and had wasted the rest of my argon supply

Turns out it’s not gas but the sexy CK torch and hose, after months of trying to work out what was wrong I put my old, heavy, torch and hose back in and I’m welding like a pro (well pro-ish). Next is mounts for the fuel rail and an extension for the throttle as there just isn’t enough room where I’d like it:

Right then so that’s a plenum built. Car starts but I might have an air leak as it revs straight away, could be fuelling, will have to check the logs. Also below is the socket I had to make as there isn’t quite enough room to get a normal socket or spanner on, but it all fits so much better than then old one and the inlet route is spot on, I think I achieved almost all of my goals. On the whole pleased but I won’t be taking orders (not that I think there’s a market for my unique style of welding).
