Gutted Lee! I remember when you 1st started posting about this project and the excitement of a factory build. MNR should be ashamed.
Personally for me having owned TVR's before I got into kit building (and seen some of the bodges and problems from the best of Blackpool) I'd only ever build my own kit.

Well another month or so tick by and I think...we are there...
Done some good mileage past couple of weeks and don't have a drop of oil from any part of the car on the garage floor...so pleased diff leaks are sorted. I've torque sealed every nut and bolt and nothings moved.
Have a couple of personal upgrades to sort over winter but on the whole I'm building some confidence again. The engine cradle that cracked has been sorted and made stronger than before by a well known fabricator who works with grass track and does alot of work with a local kit car designer in Hereford.
Going to wire up a 24v starter system which is very easy and then hook up some epectronic bespoke brake pressure gauges which can report live pressures into the steering wheel So i can see bias ..
And have confidence brakes are ok.
Progress ok and feeling better about it... I've spoke with MNR and I have broke that link after loosing patience...quite rightly so I think .

Just fitted the pressure sensors in the brake lines So I can read what's going on with brakes on the steering wheel and dial.in the bias properly.
The bloody brake bias dial has been added to the pedals the wrong way... So when I thought I was giving more bias front I was actually giving more to the back.. .. lol
Finally adjusted it all so it's spot on now with a full system bleed.
Also sorted the 24v start too which was very easy to do. Just making some brackets to hold the 2nd battery in place properly (currently masking tape) which will be required for racing. Next is a full electronic fire extinguisher kit in the passenger side.
I've also added some UV fluid dye in each fluid system so i can see any leaks and exactly where they are coming from. Great bit of kit sold at demon tweeks and a cheap UV torch off eBay.
It's always bothered me after seeing the video of pauls crash in Europe that time how much his arms where flying around inside the car.....and if it was a seven he was in how much they would be hanging outside the roll cage...so I'm about to fit some window nets too for safety.

Glad you gound that brake bias dial error - I could imagine that could have caused loads of agro and headscratching if you hadn't seen the mistake. Potentially dangerous too I guess.
What's the thinking behind 24v starting? Educate me! - I've heard of people fitting 24v starting to busa's but I don't know why.
Does it struggle to turn over with the 12v system, or does it mean that you can run two much smaller/lighter batteries rather than a larger 12v battery?
