Glad you had a good run, did it get much attention from other bikers?

Certainly doesn't look out of place in that company Steve. Did it get much attention ?
Well done for getting out and about on it, the paint looks nice a bright.

Nice one Steve.

The bike looks great and very different in her new clothes.

Was the police escort necessary? I know the chalet is a bit rough and ready but I didn’t think even Tony B went to places that were that “full of character” for a cheap feed!!! :o :D

Looks very smart Steve! Vey cool.

Was it a tough decision to go with a new paint job? Any emotional attachment to the old look?

Not really Steve, the old paint was a bit scruffy up close, lots of chips and cracks in the gel coat. I felt the old style was a bit over the top for a man in his 50s too!
The guy that did the paint for me could have done with some tips from Rich though. I gave him the one-off decals and he stuck them on upside down and had to repaint the fairing. There's a number of drips and even a section that was rubbed down but got no paint at all. I've now got some bubbles appearing.
But it's not a new bike or a show pony so I can't get too fussy, it's just nice to be able to take it out after all these years.

It’s looked great Steve in the “flesh”. Credit to you. I’d get the brakes sorted though :D

Good catch up today
Well done on getting out and on the quality of the re build.
Nice run home, looked good on the A21
Thought I’d taken a pic of the whole bike, but it was getting so much attention, probably couldn’t get a clear shot lol
