What’s the longest amount time you spent searching for a car?

Postby Rexholme » Sat Oct 26, 2019 12:00 pm

Hi

I’m beginning to loose my mind, probably because I have the patience of a 4yo, searching for a ‘suitable’ kit-car.

What’s the longest amount of time you spent looking for a car and how did you stop the urge for silly or impulse buys?

Mike

Never bought one so can’t answer the question but the longer you wait but also the more you look at I suppose the better informed you will be.

Try and be more relaxed about it. From now until April, the weather will be pretty bad, so there's no hurry. Something will turn up, and if it doesn't, there is always my brother's crossflow Fury. I don't think he has even bothered advertising it yet.

Oh yea, I just remembered you mentioned that at Brooklands. I’ll ping you my details, I like Fury’s.

I didn't, I bought the first Tiger Cat I went to see, the owner took me out for a blast in it and I had to have it

Sometimes it is best to follow your gut instinct and not over think things

Says the man who has lost money on every car he has owned, the Elan I had would now be worth 4 times as much as I sold it for
