Saturday afternoon drove the tiger ST to Matt’s for a bit of a tune. As it was running a bit lumpy and the clutch was high and slipping.
Changed the plugs and put a different map on the car. The engine was running well, no flat spots/ leaks. So all good.
Tried to adjust clutch but was getting worse, thought it might of been a greasy/oily clutch due to the bottom end failure.Which means engine out again! But thought we would try a shorter clutch cable as I still had the cosworth cable, that wraps around the car twice.
Sunday went to my handy motor shop and picked up a Sierra clutch cable, fitted it, but still slipping. Spoke to Matt and he looked into it and found out that they do 2 different size clutch self adjusting quadrants 45 and 55 and I had the 45.

Matt got me the 55 which would give me more adjustment.
Today just so happens that Matt and I both had a late start, so he popped over with my part and we fitted It, which wasn’t that easy to strip out and refit. Ended up getting the welder out, and welded a couple of nuts to make it easier in the future.
Took it for a spin around the block and looks like it solved the slipping clutch.
Just need to get some miles down know
Thanks again Matt https://youtu.be/v2CIatA9PlI
