Today’s break down

Well as some may know a nice little run well up to 8am this morning anyway. Until the car decided not to play and started to make all noises and loss of power, so pulled over, and watched Tony S disappear into the distance with a voice on radio saying we’ve lost Kev
Next thing my Pitt crew turned up Matt and Tony S ( Thanks TonyS and Matt )
But between us we didn’t have enough string and sticky tape to fix, so in top gear fashion, Matt and TonyS went on their way, while I rang for recovery.
RAC said they were really busy and would take 2 -3 hours to get a patrol, I said didn’t need a patrol I need recovery. 4 and half hours later recovery turned up
The RAC man could talk for England He was a Petrol Head that’s for sure.
Had a family thing this afternoon, but got home decided to go out in the garage and have a little look
Drained oil but looked quite clean
Removed sump and found a nice glittery mess in sump with chunks of metal
A big Chunk of metal
Even in the pick up pipe
Checked pistons and they looked ok
Messaging Matt and looking at different things and it was looking more like a engine rebuild.
But then found the oil breather plate was missing a end plate and it looked a bit chewed up
So now it looks like engine is definitely coming out to see what damage has been done
