3 forums which are mostly going to be full of people who already own a kit and aren’t generally looking to buy? You might be lucky and get a few guys who own the same car telling you it’s too cheap!
Facebook and eBay will give you more coverage in the first minute than forums will in a month, as stevo suggested a classified advert on eBay will eliminate any messers, it’s just an advert to get people in contact with you and in turn arrange to see the car, no bids, no buy it now. You will get questions coming through and no doubt some silly offers but surely you can cope with that if it means you stand a chance of selling? I sold my westfield this way and actually achieved more money than what I paid for it a few years before (ask rob e to tell you the story).
Other than that I would use Facebook to share the eBay listing, copy and paste it into kit car groups, car selling pages, sports car pages etc etc.
Also I think your price is too high, get it wrong in the first instance and people will get fed up with seeing it online and assume that there’s something wrong with it, often price reductions go unnoticed and you’ll end either not selling or getting less than you would had you priced it right in the first place, obviously all in my opinion ;)
Good luck with the sale.

RE: your Tiger - I suspect £6k for a Cat E1 with an 8-valve on carbs is a bit strong. If you have a quick search about the web you'll find a number of examples pitched quite a bit lower so you're in competition with them. Phil's given some good advice about trying to get the pricing as right as you can when you first post it. Do some research, try and gauge what similar cars are selling for (recently) and pick a price accordingly. When you're confident you've got the ad details (including any unique or stand-out features) and price in good order get it out there on eBay, Facebook Marketplace, Gumtree and Pistonheads.

Here's a 16-valve car on ITBs that sold (I assume) for £5.5k:

There are others on sale currently ranging between £4k-6k advertised price with varying specs. What cash changes hands eventually for those though is unknown.
Current: Fisher Fury Spyder - 16v Toyota 4AGE
Previous: Road Runner SR2 Turbo - SOLD
Previous: Tiger Avon - Raceline Zetec-R

There is always some chancer, who thinks their car is worth more than everyone elses... :D

A 1.8 Pinto engined Tiger up for £8,250!

I think that I will upgrade the seats in mine and enjoy for the rest of the summer!
Maybe a couple of other upgrades too...
We'll see what next spring brings, maybe I'll have had the opportunity to save a bit more.
