Ok that was the pic I wanted to load, yes part 10.
Used to have the same issue when banger racing, had loads of the boxes apart to make one good one.

Thanks for that, sounds really promising :D . I plan to take it out sometime next week (away at the British GP this weekend). One last silly question.. (showing my ignorance here!) how do you uncouple the propshaft/universal joint from the end of the gearbox? I've had a quick look and its not obvious to me.. never done it before.

Pull the prop out and catch the oil

That is also what I was thinking something on the linkage inside the box. But haven’t had a type 9 apart myself so couldn’t tell without looking at it
