Sprint noise limits at Goodwood are, Static 105dB at 3/4 revs, 45deg from exhaust @ 1m. Drive-by is 102dB @10m from track.

There are three noise meters
1. Outside Madgwick on the exit of the corner
2. Outside St Marys on the exit
3. Inside of the Chicane on the exit (this is very close to the circuit and you are on the curb next to it on the exit)

All of them are linked to the council and Goodwood are allowed so many breaches per hour. If someone trips a noise meter they have to stop the event until the hour has passed.

A lot of Kitcars struggle with the Sprint noise limits. I understand that track day limits are 98dB static & 93dB driver-by (?) and is designed to allow a 'normal' road car to pass and anything with a non OEM exhaust will struggle.

KitNet had a track day at Castle Combe on Sunday.

The cost and numbers were:

35 cars at £160
Extra driver’s £20
Profits to charity

Looking at the numbers we should be able to get about half the 35 needed from the club if people on the list are prepared to travel West. I think we should be able to get the rest filled.

It would be more expensive in the summer.
