Trying to remove my discs on the van and the screw that holds them in place (one of those star bits ) will not move, 4 bits down already but an intact screw head thank god, I’ve tried some wd40, penetration spray and nothing, anyone got any clever tips ?

Re: Brakes
I had that problem on our C1 and in that case, it was because the screw went through the hub face and the other end was corroded really badly. One side I drilled out the bolt completely . Once I had figured out what was happening, I drilled off the head, cut a slot in the screw and easily screwed it clockwise into the hub and out the other side (no access to use a grinder to take the excess bolt length off from behind the hub unfortunately). I replaced the screws with shorter stainless ones.
i hope this helps

Re: Brakes
Try some heat on it (blowtorch), it might help as the head is still ok

Re: Brakes
Its not a left hand thread is it?
You really need an impact driver, as its the shock that undoes the screw,
I have an impact tool here if you need one

Re: Brakes
Just drill the head off it if you cant move it and then forget about it . They are used for mass assembly but not required for general maintenance. The wheel nuts wheel hold the disc on the hub

Re: Brakes
Sorry mate WD40 isn't penetrating oil you can try some heat or put some pressure on the bit you're using and then a series of shape smart wacks with a hammer
