decided that if i can i'd like an ali one with strakes.....found a supplier, needless to say out of stock for a cple weeks, will see whether that ever changes; if not, will look to get one made up to fit perfectly.

Good choice I'd say, alloy is only a little heavier & unlike carbon, won't absorb water & gain weight, lose strength or shatter when you reverse up to a kerb.
