That does look very tight Kenton, will it touch when the engine moves ? specially when you are giving it some stick ?

Looks good K, are you fitting stabiliser bars to the top of the engine?

It was a bit of a guess regarding the engine height, I think the "normal" position is a bit lower in the chassis but as both engine mounts were fractured they are being re fabricated so I couldn't use them in the mock up. The engine is firmly mounted with a pair of these so cant move much.

Mike, I'm not planning to add any stabilisers.

Too late to do anything about it now as its off to be powdercoated tomorrow.

Looks good K, with the stiffer mounts not likely to go anywhere.

We did belt and braces with mine and fitted a couple of Mini engine stabiliser bars from the back of each head across to the chassis rails.
Power.. small nail, fast hammer, Torque.. small nail, big hammer.. I got a big hammer :P

Chassis in Dartford being coated, ready for collection mon pm.
Collected an 8x4 sheet of ally on the way home to make some new panels.
