Yes it is exactly the same on the outside. I had been tempted to put a new body on it but there's not much wrong with what I have now.
Its underneath that's its changed.
stronger front end than the standard chassis
new floor
replaced most of the brake and fuel lines.
tidied up the wiring including heat proof sleaving in the engine bay
replaced the coolant pipes, the old steel ones were rusty inside.
refurbished the driveshafts and a few other bits and pieces
all new interior.

it all went to plan, a few favours called in to shorten the wait for parts prevented me getting a 2nd toy to tide me over and a chunk of luck. Spending almost every evening on it helped too.
