For your information they work very nicely. I've just worn them to a meeting with a client in fact (I did take the car, not just the shoes!).

:D

Meeting a client eh ;) I knew it it all makes perfect sense now :P

I repeat, utter ba$tards! Jealousy is such an ugly emotion

I may well wear them to Detling, so you can judge for yourselves. If it's muddy I might get some of those blue covers they wear in hospitals though.

Much as I'd love to stay and have a chat with all you philistines tonight I'm going to find a better use of my time - like going to take a sh1t. I may print a copy of this thread and use it to wipe my ar$e!

Night all ;)

Sorry to revive the shoe debate again, but it came to my attention at the weekend that James has a pair of the very same shoes but in black. I figure that if mine are gay, his are at least "curious" :D

.......... and we're back  Groundhog day ;)

I own a pair of Sparco Hi Top race boots that are now well warn from my kart racing days. The first pair ended up with a hole through the front of them. If I wear them in a non driving context I definately look like I "help out in a crisis" even though they are black.

I'm sure your boots look very matcho in the right context Dan.............. whatever that is ;)

PS just for clarity.... I was never confused :D

I feel your pain. I've yet to team up the shoes with the removable steering wheel and walk into a pub though! That might be an experience
