Have you found the Pirbright Ring? search YouTube for "Pirbright bends", lots of Corsas (& one or two drivers) met their ends & they've now put a 30 limit in - as if that'll help  but if you can get a clear run it's a lovely bit of road.

Yep know it :)

Born and inbred in Farnham, worked in Farnborough for a period and 3-4 of mates have settled in that area so I get the occasional drive there.

The 1st world problem I have is that I don't know north of Guildford too well and out towards Reigate, Cranleigh and around Dunsfold etc. That said, I have only just discovered the country lanes around Puttenham when I drive to see my folks and there are some pretty awesome sections along that route.

The old road that runs south of the Hog's Back & parallel to it is pretty good & usually empty.

Yes, I've used it as an alternative to the Hogs Back a few times
