On a road trip I'd have tried harder, but I wasn't sure how many problems I was chasing.

Test drive tomorrow if it's not raining :D

That’s a shame would of been nice to of seen you at brooklands
Glade it’s fixed now,
I’ve yet to check my car the plastic speed bumps in the car park we’re a bit fierce, and it’s knocked off / broke the speedo cable after replacing it the day before and on the way home the gearbox felt very loose and a lot more movement, so yet to see what’s happened , but was a good turn out

The wheel & tyre combo saves 18kg of unsprung rotating mass & cost less than a set of R888Rs, so wins all round :D

Great choice Tony, they look so much better than the old wheels. They really finish the look of the car 8-)

I see you've seen the light and gone for the Rain Experts too
Remember you do have to slow down slightly for corners now!

They were the only decent tyres I could find in 175/70/13 & yes I'll be going easy for a while.

What pressure do you run yours at - the garage have put 35psi in these

Sorry a bit late to the post, I do like the interior Tony, very tidy. I like what you have done to the speedo and rev counter with the other warning lights in the centre.
The exterior looks very nice also, the touch of red really makes it for me.

I have 60 profile on 14" wheels and I run 19 psi, I used to run 18 but a photo you took of me at Car Limits showed the walls rolling off the wheel more than I liked.

They do have much softer sidewalls than the 888s, so I would suggest starting at 20 psi and adjust from there. Here's a link to lotus Seven Club thread:
