Proper VVT control just like it was in the Ford rather than just being turned on at a certain rev.
Apparently easy ability to tune yourself or a high number of RR agents.

Used to get those sweets with orders from Wiggle.

I made up a Speeduino ECU (circa £100) with intention to run it on the MX5. The MX5 ended up going to join the 8 million others with rusty rear sills, but I'd still like to try out the ECU. I may play with it on the Tiger some day, but would need a Webcon plug to keep the wiring changes simple. And a wideband O2 sensor and controller is needed.

Bit of time on Eleanor yesterday, managed to knock up what will be a proto type base for the ECU out of Ali left over from the side panel, bent it in my DIY folder
Will probably make it out of steel as I can do more with it.
This is being mounted under the dash in the reverse side of the oil catch can fixing screws. More fibreglass to re inforce a weak area on the bonnet ( cracks will be removed once rear area is dried) and started fettling round with the joining area between side and rear panel.
Decided to have a go with the acid etched primer, spray filler and a hard satin black spray paint for the headlight bowls, so started on the primer on the first one.

you put me to shame Rich....i'd have junked the lamp bowls and 'somehow' found some fresh ones. Fair play for the fettling!

That's looking good, won't be long and you'll be painting it all

After the weekend off I was eager to see how the few coats of a tough satin black on the first headlamp bits had come out.

Then started on the bracket that it sits on and attaches to the chassis.

Few little touch up on the first bonnet and then started on the spare bonnet, that I intend to take back to basics by sealing up the exhaust and carbs holes
I also need to check the fit and finish so means it has to be done now whilst the rest of the panels are on.
Will definitely have to extend the front again, but started on the top hole and was really impressed with the first layout, went so well I have done the old exhaust hole as well.
Have plenty of pics but as we know can't attach pics at moment
