Bugger me this powder coating is tough stuff, when I was looking to sort the chassis and roll cage I did wish I could have got them in my powder coating oven as it is so much more hard wearing then just paint.
Managed to get one of the trim cleaned but 4 coating on the rest and still not anywhere near.
Have sent off for some Power Strip recommended by one of the U Tubers I watch.
Chances are I will still need it when I arrives at weekend at this rate.
In other news I have managed to replace the curly wirly fuel pipe with one made by the same mate as did the filter to pump pipe and got some new socks fitted on the TB as the others were leaving dusty deposits every time I touched them
Working up to investigating the noisy electrical issues on weekend when there some natural light.

Looks great Rich, loving the two tone paint job, I wouldn't go over the fly screen with the white strip, it looks good as it is.
well done for writing this huge task up, it was certainly a labour of love. Now to sort the engine out, hopefully that want take to long,
great job

I really like the two tone paint job and the finish looks perfect. I'd keep the aeroscreen in black though as it is.

What a transformation. You should be proud rich.
Looking forward to seeing you and the car out on a blat soon!

You've done a brilliant job, the paint job looks superb :)
There is enough time to finish the other jobs and get her running nicely before the decent weather returns 8-)

Thanks all for your comments.

Managed to get some better paint stripper and finally got all the yellow PC off.
Made a couple of brackets to hold the longache type rear view mirrow via the cage bolts for the top rails.
Cleaned these up with the strip to hold the accelerator cables and coated them all in satin black powder and baked them last night.
