Bit more work and I'm really quite proud how its turned out. I used plastic spacers to mount the fuseboxes and I got my terminating Anvil and terminals from CBS..Image

Sorted the battery and engine earths..Image

And then finally turned the key wishing for good fortune... and the starter turned over fiercely, first try!

So Im in the garage tomorrow and wiring seems to have taken over but will try and do something mechanical or cosmetic tomorrow for a break

Very pleased..

A break from wiring and some body work done...

Arches and one side panel fitted today, the side panels are one of my top favourite features on the new model.

Now it comes back in the garage and put on stands for all the remaining wiring, ecu, MX5 Mk1 Alternator(not ecu controlled like the mk2 one) and all things electric electronic. Hopefully to emerge in March for IVA

(If not sooner ;-) who knows )

PS. You can see the stickers been removed off tank cover and am toying with Martini Racing graphics... Thoughts?

Sorry I can't comment on the ecu, but the car is looking very good. I wasn't sure about the restyled panels before, but in that colour combination, I think it looks much more like a finished car. I like it :)

Thanks mate, I’m very pleased with how it’s looking, I always try to start with a finished look in my head. That said I’m now toying with Martini Racing graphics

Looking good, I've always liked the look of Martini stripes, go for it. As for the crimp anvil, what's wrong with punching a couple of indentations in a crimp with a large self-tapper in a vice

Go for the Martini look. It works well with white cars. It transformed mine as you will see below.
