To be fair Alex, you have bought a car from the right people, you know its been put together properly using the right bits and by people who know what they are doing. If its as much fun as mine (built by them same people) then the smile will take ages to come of your face. Don't forget the car will be so much more responsive and bloody quick so take it easy, get use to it first.

How very true, the rear end is now apart once again to get the coil springs changed, I think it should be back together again by next week end so may then just have to put some u channel soft bits around my f/glass seats, the steering column needs a shroud better than the Sierra one i fitted 14 years ago to make it look normal, I can then rethink the tunnel top and gear stick and hand brake gators.

Well, it's not the Fury & it has the Devil's own transmission (Front Wheel Drive), but it was cheap (though just about undrivable when I got it) & it's just taken me 1200ish miles round Wales without complaint, keeping up with the Elises (ish - mostly - not sure the rev counter realised there were numbers that big ).
