Popped out on two wheels this morning to catch up with the guys after their epic 10 mile circuit of Uckfield. Nice to be out in the sunshine despite it being f-f-f-f-reezing. Hope Tony and Kenton get home OK... guessing they're still out on the road crunching the miles back.

Photos to prove.

Excellent run in the sun
This morning a good mix of roads.
But way toooo many Sunday drivers...and on my way home a single horse box with 14 cars
And more in the queue behind him. my thanks to all for a great morning...oh yes and a very tasty breakfast at a good price.
Till next time stay safe out there.

Southern, westfield, tin top & motorbike club

Decided to take the manta for a spin as I've not really driven it since I bought it and the thought of 65 miles on the motorway without a hood (mine broke) wasn't a nice one. I am really pleased with how it goes (and stops), not quite up to the pace of T & K but was quick enough (for now).

Met at pease pottage and off we trotted, Kentons cycle wing kept trying to make a bid for freedom but a couple of stops and a few rolls of gaffer tape sorted that one. Roads were generally good, had a few issues again from Mr Sunshine and towards the end there were a few Sunday drivers around to slow our progress. Two near death experiences with a car pulling out of a side road right in front of me and secondly an ambulance coming round a bend in the middle of the road

Got to the cafe/pub where we were warmly welcomed by the owners, great breakfast and good value. Felicity and Russ met us there too.

only 1h44mins to get home so nice to do a local run

Crikey, only just managed to get home after a nightmare journey back from the pub

Yep, really enjoyed that this morning, it’s what sundays are for - and the new heated socks came in to their own!!!

Out next weekend but hopefully back the weekend after

Arrived home with a huge grin. Really enjoyed the drive, not much traffic and managed to fit in some errands on the way home too.

Food was cracking and had the usual hilarity over breakfast.
